Can somebody tell me more about Router for wireless access before I buy one? From personal experience, wireless access is a hassle. I ended up wiring for internet access with ethernet cable from room to room. (from my non-expert opinion)The disadvantage of having using a LAN wireless adapter is the connection can get lost. And keep in my of the bandwidth. The speed will only be up to what your adapter is capable of. That's partly why I choose cable, for the speed. I changed the wireless adapter a couple of times because it get damaged easily. Blame me for trying to get the best reception at the weirdest positions and dropping them again and again. If you are asking just about the router itself, I went to a shop got the cheapest one, SMC brand. It has been splendid ever since. |

There will be a PC Show coming soon. Why not c what they have to offer? Confirm cheap cheap. U want wireless access for both PC and laptop rite? Networking questions can ask Ishak. I think he might know a thing or two  Hope that help. |

I will be taking my Final Theory Test on 23rd of this month. I don't even have the books for it. HELP!! Alhamdulillah I passed... i bought this 400 qns sample yesterday since I had my FTT just now. So whoever needs the book can ask from me. |

I cannot network my laptop running on vista to my desktop that is running on xp. I tried installing my laptop with xp but apparently there are not driver support with xp. So I'm stuck with vista for the laptop.
Has anyone tried to share files between vista system and xp??

im using vista also..initially i do face probs connecting in NYP..but i approach SIT helpdesk and they solve it 4 me.
No probs aft tat...
