Alec, Bill and Charles, were three neighbouring farmers. Alec, who owned the peathingy, found an egg in Bill's car, while it was parked on Charles' land. All three man claimed the egg. Alec says it was his because he owned the peathingy. Bill said it was his because it was laid in his car.. Charles said it was his because it was laid on his land. To which of the three should the egg rightfully belong?

answer to the St Ives is 1 person because only I was going to St Ives, the rest was coming FROM St Ives.
answer to the rightful owner of the egg is the bird who laid it(i dunno how to spell the bird's name)
